Yanara Technologies at “Entreprendre pour la Défense”: a key moment to understand, engage and build the future

On 8 October 2025, Yanara Technologies took part in the “Entreprendre pour la Défense” event, organised by MEDEF in Marcq-en-Barœul.

This event was a key opportunity to gain a better understanding of the challenges of the defence economy, identify how our company can contribute to them, and strengthen our position within a strategic ecosystem undergoing rapid change.

A day dedicated to the defence economy in Hauts-de-France

The “Entreprendre pour la Défense” event, organised by MEDEF Hauts-de-France, brought together companies, institutions and economic players around a major issue: the role of business in the defence economy and in industrial sovereignty dynamics.

Through the various discussions, the event provided an overview of the sector’s needs, cooperation opportunities with the armed forces, and the role that regional companies can play in this dynamic.

As MEDEF emphasised following the event, this meeting stood at the crossroads of economic, industrial and sovereignty challenges, with the aim of creating concrete cooperation opportunities and new projects related to Defence.

Yanara Technologies commits by signing the ProMilès Manifesto

This day also marked an important step for Yanara Technologies with the signing of the ProMilès Manifesto, a scheme designed to build direct links between companies and the armed forces.

This manifesto aims to encourage relationships between companies and military units at local or regional level, in order to help promote the spirit of defence and strengthen national cohesion.

It is based in particular on several key areas: the retraining of military personnel, employment support for spouses within the defence community, support for wounded service members, and the promotion of the operational reserve.

By signing this manifesto, Yanara Technologies formalises its commitment to supporting the women and men serving our armed forces, as well as active and reserve personnel, veterans, wounded service members and their families.

The document signed on behalf of Yanara Technologies in Marcq-en-Barœul on 8 October 2025 also states that this commitment may be claimed for a period of five years.

Qualified exchanges with key regional stakeholders

Beyond the speeches and institutional sessions, this day was also an important opportunity for networking and qualified meetings.

The cocktail reception held at the end of the event enabled us to exchange with several major players from Hauts-de-France, including MC2 Technologies, Construction 3D and other companies engaged in the region’s industrial and strategic challenges.

The event was also an opportunity to meet leading institutional representatives, including Mr Bertrand Gaume, Prefect of the Hauts-de-France region, and Mr Xavier Bertrand, President of the Hauts-de-France region.

These exchanges strengthened the value of the day, both in terms of better understanding the defence environment and identifying opportunities for Yanara Technologies to position itself within this ecosystem.

Participation aligned with Yanara Technologies’ ambitions

By taking part in “Entreprendre pour la Défense”, Yanara Technologies confirms its commitment to better understanding ongoing transformations, strengthening its presence in strategic sectors and becoming part of a long-term cooperation dynamic.

This day enabled our company to consolidate its thinking on the defence economy, formalise a concrete commitment through ProMilès and develop useful exchanges with major economic and institutional stakeholders in the region.

A new dynamic has been launched, with more to come.
